Dr Casey grew up on a small horse property, a short drive from the beaches of the Sunshine Coast. From a young age, horses have been a part of her life. She started her equine career in pony club, competing in a variety of disciplines, before progressing into the higher levels of eventing and dressage. Casey graduated in 2019 from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours) before joining the team at Equine Veterinary Services in 2020. She has a special interest in dentistry and radiography. In her spare time, Casey enjoys spending time with her three dogs (Russell, Callie and Tucker) and competing in eventing on her off the track thoroughbred, Mook. In April 2024, Casey, and her partner Jack, welcomed into the world their first daughter, Maggie.
