Casey grew up on a small horse property, a short drive from the beaches of the Sunshine Coast. From a young age, horses have been a part of her life. She started her equine career in pony club, competing in a variety of disciplines, before progressing into the higher levels of eventing and dressage.

Casey graduated in 2019 from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours) before joining the team at Equine Veterinary Services in 2020. She has a special interest in lameness, racetrack medicine and performance horse rehabilitation and is keen to further advance these areas throughout her career.

In her spare time, Casey enjoys competing in eventing, playing rugby and heading back to the coast to attend beach patrols as a volunteer Life Saver.
